I am an artist and photographer born in Greece and based in Scotland since 2009. My life's work is devoted to the exploration and evolution of consciousness through connection and engagement with the body and spirit(s) of the world, and its Mysteries.
Some of my deepest obsessions revolve around transformation and the alchemisation of lived experience into an examined, awakened, and artfully-lived life, sanctified from root to summit, light to dark, creation to destruction- and back round again-to bring the gifts of illumination, liberation and connection to the fore. Some of the gifts this philosophy and way of living bestow on me take art forms, and it is those I showcase on this page.
A mercurial shapeshifter and insatiable, eternal student and seeker at heart, I move irreverently in serpentine fashion between different media and aesthetics, where inspiration takes me, with no other agenda other than “to follow the call.” To date I have adventured and created in the realms of photography, visual art, music, poetry, book & web design, bookbinding & plant alchemy.
My first art book, Love Is Here To Slay (2020), showcased visual works oozing maximal erotic and annihilating drives, marrying devious glamour and a pop art sensibility with the psychedelic, grotesque, occult and surreal.
Since then I have continued to experiment with form and colour in transmutations of photographs seeking portals to hidden visionary landscapes of the imaginal, released under the banner Palace of Mirrors.
In addition, I continue to have a photographic practice in worship of and gratitude to the multitudes of the material world in all their poetry, beauty and profundity through my particular viewpoint, shared under the banner Postcards from Malkuth.
2023 brought the first publication to contain photographs from this practice, captured during my time in Japan in 2017. The book is now available in two editions, a standard paperback and an artist limited hand-bound edition, on my art store.
